Your Right to Opt Out

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and the use of your data for targeted advertising, even if we do not currently engage in those practices.

You may submit an opt-out request at any time and we will honor it within 15 business days of receipt. We will not ask you to create an account or provide unnecessary information to submit this request.

How to Submit Your Opt-Out Request

Choose any of the following methods:

• Phone: Call us at 832-779-5522 and ask to speak with our Privacy Officer

• Global Privacy Control: We automatically honor GPC browser signals — see below

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

As of January 1, 2025 (Texas TDPSA) and under the California CCPA, we are required to recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser or extension has GPC enabled, we automatically treat this as a valid opt-out request when you visit our Site. No further action is needed on your part.

You can enable GPC in browsers including Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo, or via extensions. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

What Happens After You Opt Out

• We will stop any sharing of your data for advertising or cross-context behavioral purposes
• We will suppress non-essential analytics cookies for your future visits where technically possible
• We will retain a record of your opt-out request for 24 months
• We will not discriminate against you — you will receive the same quality of service regardless of this request
• You may opt back in at any time by contacting us at admin@mismile.dental

Authorized Agents

California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on their behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you. Texas residents may also use a designated agent or a universal opt-out mechanism such as GPC.

Third-Party Services We Use

For transparency, here are the third-party services active on our Site and their privacy controls:

• Google Analytics 4 — anonymized website analytics. Opt out via Google's browser add-on
• Google Fonts / Font Awesome — typography resources loaded from CDN. These may log your IP address per Google's and Cloudflare's own privacy policies.
• Google Maps embed — interactive map on our contact page. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Twitter/X Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other advertising tracking technology.
